By 1877, Shatz, Lowenthal & Leiter were advertising their store as the successor to S. Rosenblatt & Co. (Google Books):

Could this be the same S. Rosenblatt, way out in Oregon? (Google Books), The Morning Oregonian, 26 Jan 1912, p. 4:

Clark's O.N.T. thread and the Clark Thread Co. is discussed on pages 72 and 174 of the Earl J. Arnold Advertising Card Collection.

You know I looked after the "Chicago Cheap Picture Company!"
A firm name that rings true with me!
However, I couldn't find anything. Can you?
Please comment below if you can. Thanks!
"Morgan & McDill  -  undertaking a specialty, furniture, curtains, frames  -  N/E c/o square, Winterset, Ia.   -  1879 - 1881" -- Early Madison County Undertakers, Coffin Makers and Funeral Homes compiled by Ida Morse. Founders of the firm were Jacob A. Morgan and D.H. McDill.

See page 22 of the Earl J. Arnold Advertising Card Collection for further information on Wellman & Dwire. Another Wellman & Dwire card is on page 15.

The Eclipse wringer was manufactured by the Metropolitan Manufacturing Company of Middlefield CT which was bought out in 1891 by the American Wringer Company headquartered in Providence RI. Both Metropolitan and American had an office in New York City as well, so they sometimes are listed with their NY address. It appears that another business entity might have been involved, too, if this quote from Google Books is accurate:

Additional information about the American Wringer Company, which absorbed (probably not a business term) the Metropolitan Manufacturing Company among others, is on page 20 of the Earl J. Arnold Advertising Card Collection.

I haven't been able to find anything about either Quinn or Ward so far. Please comment below or email me if you are familiar with this business. Thanks!

Another card, but no additional information for William H. Harris is on page 94 of the Earl J. Arnold Advertising Card Collection.
